Looking at picking up a set of 5 Camaro steelies locally and wondering if anyone has ran these on a DII specifically.

IIRC, Greg Davis ran a set of Camaro alloys at one time, so the bolt pattern should be the same as the steelies. What back spacing do the wheels have???

I honestly don't know. I think they have stock backspacing, or at least I have read. I know they will fit but wanted to see if anyone was actually running them.

The specs are 16x7.5, 5 on 120.65.

Yes, Greg Davis ran them on his truck. I think they were Camaro Alloys. What is the benefit of the Camaro wheels vs. any other wheel?

They are the only steel wheel you can find with the correct backspacing, IIRC.

Yea, to my knowledge these are the only wheels you can get that won't rub besides ordering directly from LR.

I'm going to mount them up in the next few days and I'll post some pics and the results of the sizing, etc.

Arent the lug holes totaly different in size.

I also thought LR rims were hub-centric, meaning the wheels are centered on the hub by a hub flange vs. centering with the lug nuts.

I'll have them in a week or so. I was sourcing them locally but found them 25 bucks cheaper per wheel out of state. I'll be sure to post pics.

I know you are asking about DII's, but I've got them on my P38, which has the exact same specs as a DII. The Camaro wheels fit perfectly. They are a 7 1/2" wide though, not 7" like some assume. The lug nut holes fit fine, although I did have to run a drill through mine; not to drill them out larger, but just to knock out some scale and rust. You probably wouldn't have to do that on a new set.

Here is a picture of them. (FYI, I wasn't having engine problems, I was warming my burrito.)

If stud centric wheels are good enough for most every other vehicle on earth, aren't they good enough for our uses for off-road tires?

Amen to that brother!!!
