How'd you like that Lancia? I had a roommate when I lived in England '80 to '82 that had one of those. That was a fun car to drive! Had a really funky key if I remember correctly.

Cheers,

Mike

The Lancia was a sporty looking POS. It handled good, rode OK, was OK on comfort for a 2 seat sportscar. The big downfall was the FIAT engine. Was so gutless it might lose a drag race to a VW Bug, not to mention it leaked oil worse than a Land Rover ever could hope to. FIAT originally designed the car to have a Ferrari Dino V-6 in it, then they puked out and stuffed a FIAT 2 Liter in it. Would have been a great car with the Dino V-6. Frankly I was very happy when I got rid of it.

I cannot remember what model his was but it was quick. I do remember it was a coupe, had a small back seat. At least it was fun on the country roads in East Anglia UK.

The Lancia was not quick. My brother had a coupe with back seat, was a turd, too.

Oops I forgot I had a 1974 Olds Toronado that was about the same length as an aircraft carrier. Had a 455 Olds in it, got like 6 MPG on a good day, downhill, with a tailwind.
