Where have you guys put your CB unit in your Disco? I spent an hour tonight trying to find just the right place and haven't yet found it.

KevLar said:I've only seen a few auto stereo heads that do this, but many aircraft nav & comm radios are designed in 2 pieces. The controls (faceplate) mount in the instrument panel while the radio itself is typically mounted on a rack elsewhere in the aircraft.

Closest I've found is the Cobra 75WX (which I have installed). Though, most of the radio is in the handset, and only a little box is remote... And I'm not crazy with the 75WX's performance, but haven't found a better alternative. The nice thing about the 75WX is I can disconnect the handset, and everything is hidden.
