Has anybody heard of the water pump leaking onto the cam sensor plug tripping a engine services light?
I ask because I have had a engine services light on for about 2 months, at the same time I have had a leak from the weep hole on the water pump.. (It took me a little bit to find the leak)
when I was changing out the pump I noticed that the CAM sensor plug was wet with coolant and caked with road grime. I cleaned the front cover and sprayed the connection with electrical cleaner. I have driven over 200 miles and have had no Light sense I did the work.
Edit. The cods being thrown where random and not always the same.
