Chris, I will get you the measurements... I am pretty sure that the front would work without any modification, but the rear may be a tad too long. I will get them soon and post the numbers.

Thanks,

Scott

Just to clear up the confusion... The 4.6 transfer case, transfers the power 40 percent faster. It is bullet proof and can save your life. If an improvised explosive device detonates under your truck, only a 4.6 transfer case can handle the explosion. Any garden variety 4.0 transfer case would be shredded by the explosion.

BTW, it is has a smooth glossy and polished Titanium finish instead of Aluminum and steel.

Hey Scott,

Is there a Greyhound shipping terminal near you that you'd be willing to ship from (www.shipgreyhound.com)? This usually is the cheapest way to send/receive things bulky like driveshafts. If there's any way you could get a shipping quote from them or UPS to St. Louis (63021- business address) I'd appreciate it.

I'm definitely interested in the front and poss. the rear as well- will wait for measurements from you.

Thanks again.

Chris,

The Front Drive Shaft Fully compressed is 23 1/2 inches. It has about 2 1/2 inches of travel before the splines start showing. The rubber boot is intact and in good condition.

The Rear Drive Shaft Fully compressed is 27 inches. It also has about 2 1/2 inches of travel before the splines start showing. The rubber boot is also intact and in good condition.

Thank you very much,

Scott

Thanks Scott. I'll measure mine tonight and let you know if they'll work. Guess I could have done that today before waiting for your measurements, duh.

Okay to call dibs on both front and rear until tomorrow morning?

I am pretty sure that the back DS might be a bit short. The disco is a few inches longer.

But, just in case... here are the measurements.

The Rear Drive Shaft Fully compressed is 27 inches. It also has about 2 1/2 inches of travel before the splines start showing. The rubber boot is also intact and in good condition.
