That was all fascinating, but I was left wondering why there was Spanish on coffee bags from Brazil?

I couldn't read it and I'm guessing it is Spanish although, I'm no language expert.. It sure wasn't written in English.. I don't see why they would make it with english writing though, since it's made to be sold in Brazilian stores. Jamie was nice enough to get it while he was in Brazil and mail it to me.

I know that Starbucks gets crapped on for having over roasted beans, stale beans, etc., but the Pike Place Blend is some damn good coffee. Late last year, I went down to the Pike Place Starbucks (original retail store) and bought some gifts for out of towners. I saw the Pike Place Blend and decided to try a bag for myself. I ground the beans myself and used a french press. It is a nice, bold coffee without having the burnt taste that people usually say about Starbucks coffee.

P.S. Eric, they speak Portuguese in Brasil.

Like I said, I'm not a language expert.. I can tell the difference between some but, not most. If it isn't english I'm in trouble...
Yeah, and I was just being a smartass in my previous comment ... sorry :)
