Ok folks, I'm sick of the coffee that I can get around here.. I want something really good.. Don't even mention "Starbucks" since that isn't good coffee.. I'm looking for whole quality coffee beans that make an incredible tasting cup of coffee.. I don't care much about the type of roast since I really like them all but, I prefer the strong full flavor coffees... Mom and pop places or where ever as long as I can buy a bag of beans.. So what do you guys like the best and where can I get it.. No folgers, cup full of nuts, or any of that crap.. Good stuff... Hide from your family when they come over becuase you don't want to share kind of good stuff...

You have to order Gevalia through the mail, but you get free things like cups and coffee makers.

If they have a website or ship then that's cool too.. I don't care where it's at as long as I can get it sent to me.. I was looking at online coffee review sites and figured I'd ask here before going and just buying random bags of beans.. Which I might do anyways..

I have not tried it yet, but my brother told me that one of the Costco's in our area is now roasting coffee in the store, and they put them in a 3 - 9 lbs bag for you while the beans are still warm. Cost was about $3.00 per pound. Compared to any coffee, any freshly roasted coffee is bettter.

I usually get the Costco stuff that is roasted by Starbucks. Not that it is exceptional, but it is consistently good, and cheap. I drink too much of it to spend a lot of money. About 1.5 liters per day, very strong.

Costco here doesn't do fresh roasting but, they do sell the starbucks beans which I've never really been impressed with however, I've had lots of it..

I'm not much of a coffee snob, but once you get used to chicory, you really miss it when it's not there.

Most of the world famous restaurants around here serve Community. No bells or whistles or anything - just good, solid coffee.

EPIC!!!

That is it... When I first moved to Los Angeles on eof my first schlep jobs was working for this nightmare of a Producer... I didn't understand why I had to run all the way across town to buy this coffee... Now I have grown older and wiser and have some schlep drive all the way across town to find it for me... It really is that good.
