So tracing some problems on the 4.0 today and the crank sensor harness crumbled and broke in my hands. Needless to say all the wire insulation was gone, so to fix, I need to know if anyone definitively knows which side the brown wire or green wire goes.
Essentially I have a plug with two bare wires coming out. I know the that the harness leads have a green and brown wire. If someone could help out here that'd be very, very good. Would like to get it soldered back up the right way.

P.S. Please don't tell me to just hook it up and see if it works that way and reverse it. I want it done right first time.
