D-90 Test Drive

Key word is girlfriend. If she was your wife shit would change.

LOL-I know a gentleman whose wife called him to go take a look at the pretty red truck at the dealership.

When he went to look at the "pretty red truck" he discovered it was a Defender. Realizing that she thought it was cute, he made an offer to buy it, only to discover she had made the deal and had traded her Freelander on it.

Smart woman to ditch the freeloader.

well, just have her drive a disco and tell her the D90 is much more twitchy, loud, uncomfortable and that you need to drive it to spare her the pain...

Mine will let me have one someday, but I like the comforts of the D2, and she likes the comforts of the HH....

Talk about D-90s, saw two of them yesterday in McLean, VA (around chain bridge rd. area @ 1700 or so) pretty much one after the other. One was def green with limb risers on. Anyone on here? Also saw an older RR, G4 package around Leesburg Pike area the same day.

Mine got mad at me because I wouldn't trade the D2 for a ST. I held out for the Station wagon, now she wants a soft top for the series instead of the safari roof.

They probably ended up saving money if they haven't already put an engine, transmission, rear window regulators, and a sunroof in the Freeloader.

Hah! I've been called lots of things, but rarely a "gentleman" :)

Yup, it was a great change from the Freeloader....but she still likes driving the old Disco better. She can park wherever she wants, and it holds all the cargo she ever needs to take with her.

It is indeed a heavy burden, but there are days when I'm "forced" to drive the D90 ;)
