D1 & D2 Exhaust Manifolds the Same?

Dropped the Y pipe this afternoon to weld up an exhaust leak and in doing so, broke off all 3 studs connecting the manifold to the Y pipe on the driver's side.

I pulled the manifold from the head to extract the bolts then it occurred to me that I had a manifold from my D1 laying around.

At a glance, they sure look the same (although casting numbers are different).

Wondering if I can use the D1 so I can get back on the road and go have some fun tonight or tomorrow and screw with replacing the studs on the D2 manifold later.

Anyone know if they are in fact the same (or close enough)?

If not the same, close enough.

The casting number difference may be due to changes made to reduce cracking.

they are the same for all discos and I think RRCs. P38s have different manifolds.

Great day in Cincy for wrenching in the driveway, but even better for getting out and doing a bit of wheeling and/or camping.

The day/evening may be salvaged after all.
