anybody know off hand what belt would fit a D1 if the A/C compressor were no longer part of the equation?

I think I still have one on a 3.9 I pulled last year, I'll check tomorrow and let you know if someone hasn't responded. I used a DII idler pulley with my setup.

some more searching tells me that an ERR6191 is a non AC serpentine for '94 -'95 D1, the dealer tells me that isn't a real part number, Google tells me otherwise. I just need a length for this belt, I'm sure there is a 7 row Gates equivalent.

It may not be listed in the North American parts catalogs and still be a good # in the rest of the world.

PT, do you show a different tensioner for the ERR6191 belt on your microcat? I got the gates equivalent but the current tensioner setup isn't gonna cut it. There are two holes on the tensioner mount, maybe I'll try flipping it upside down, but gotta actually get rid of the old AC compressor first.

Here is the picture of the belt for nonAC applications. You can see that it is 1850mm long (73"). A 6 rib belt will work, but is not as easy to install. You may have to use a slightly longer or shorter belt because of alt pulley diameter. The idler pulley's other locating hole is for the nonAC arrangement.

You need the ribbed pulley. The tensioner has to be flipped so that it engages the other hole in the mount (IIRC).

The nonAC nonPAS engine was built for my TR8 which was originally power assisted. I would also be interested in removing power steering from my RRC. If anyone has converted a Land Rover to some sort of rack and pinion I would like to know about it.
