D1 OEM Radio Display Bulb

I used these to repair dashboard buttons too. 12v for radio/CD/cassette players. Available in electronic components/radio stores. You must keep this green cover if you didn't get coloured bulbs. green 3mm leds with 680 ohms can do the work, too, at stereo front. For dashboard buttons i didn't get success due to light focus direction.

Remove both r736 and r767, then replace only one with a 2kohm resistor. LED should work find after that

Ok Having issues with the lamps installed. If i check for polarity at the light ground(LGND) and at +B on the board with my multimeter, I can get all of the lamps to light up. Plug it into the radio, flip on the headlights and the display doesn't illuminate. What do I check next? Red arrows show where lamps leads attach to board. Don't know the ohms if the internal resistor yet.

Lamp Specs

-Size: T1 Round (waterclear) LED or 3mm Round (waterclear) LED
Brightness: 16,000-18,000MCD
-Emitting color: Green
-Wave lenght: 520-530nm
-Forward voltage:9V~12VDC Compatible.
-Forward current Typical: 15mA or below; Max: 20mA
-Viewing angle: 25-35 Degree-

Take in mind that ohmeters do its source in the opposite direction that show color tips... This is... red is negative and black is positive. When you connect multimeter as voltmeter tips are correct, but you need an external source.
This often makes tecnicians to get confused. I'm afraid you will have to resold lamps inverted...
You can test it with one of them
