These are now considered collector trucks in the U.S. so prices will continue to go up and up. Good deals can still be had on 109's if you want the look. I see nice ones for under $8000.00 from time to time.

The first year for 110s was 1983. In 2008, they will fall outside the 25-year range and will be legally importable.

If I had the money to invest, I'd start buying up the supply of clean 1983 models and keep them in a warehouse overseas until '08.

My Disco has gone up in price too. I paid about $5K for it, and now I have receipts for about $13K....not bad for a couple of years of "appreciation"...
