D2 front cover coolant leak

Had the small drips down the front and under the oil pan recently.
Someone suggested checking the bolts holding the pump and cover. Looked at it last night and sure enough the two top right bolts that go through the pump and timing cover were not tight. Snugged them up and this morning no leaks. Water pump was done at 70k, now at 92k, so looks like the bolts will slack up over time. Thanks god

Wow, looks like everyone got a coolant leak for Christmas this year...

I had the loose bolt syndrome...just tightened them up every six months.

Then I did the in-line thermostat and pulled the pump and resealed (gasket and pipe dope). no problems six months later.
