I've seen some pictures of what seems to be D2s wearing the Pro Comp Street Lock Steelies but can not find a 16 inch 5x120 or 5x4.75 wheel available on their web site. Can anyone confirm a 5x120 PCD is available? Any pictures?

Thanks.

Thanks. I'm hoping to find the beadlock look the Pro Comp Street Locks provide. No functional value in the simulated beadlock, but damn it looks nice!

How are the beads on these, are they comparable to the OEM alloys. Or can you push the tire off the bead with a firm stick, like with the Atlantic British wheels offered for the swivel ball crowd.

the procomps are thin, nowhere near as strong as the alloys and much thinner than the OEM rover steelies. alos be prepared for them to have balance issues. about half the people that ran them don't because they wont balance well.

as far as the bead, if they are anything like the ones made for other vehicles, they are marginal. not super strong at holding it, but nowhere near OEM or toyota. you will have to run more pressure than with oem.

No steel rim will compare to the rover alloys for sealing a bead.. Unless it's beadlocked

What? The D1 stock steel wheels have the same ridge in them that the alloys have to help keep the bead seated. I remember trying to use the hi-lift jack trick on a D1 wheel and tire to fix a slow leak, and I gave up when I picked up the back of my friend's Tacoma and the bead still wouldn't separate.

I also broke one of those harbor freight tire changers trying to break a bead on my D2...
