D2 Radiator- Repair or Replace?

I recently had a water pump failure, and I decided to replace a few other items while I was in there, including the power steering pump. It had a small leak and was covered in fluid. As I was removing it, it slipped out of my hand. It barely touched the radiator, but that's all it took. It punctured a small hole after bending some of the fins.

Since this is aluminum, can it be repaired, or am I better off replacing it?

Nissen is not OEM. Great radiator for the D2 and should hold up. My oem started to leak at the seams at 100K ..I now have 80K on the Nissen. Holding up well.

Only issue I have found with Nissen is that the D1 radiator they sell is not copper/brass but an all aluminum version that most Rover people would probably be very scared off. It is all aluminum even the side tanks(no plastic). Still spendy over $400

I got a Silla from amazon for about $120 + free shipping. It isn't as thick as stock...maybe 1cm thinner front to back.

Now that its winter I am at 183-188 99% of the time with the genuine gray 180 stat.

In the summer it would hit 208 goin uphill at highway speed, but I'm not sure if that is due to the radiator...this is on my D2 with a block crack.

So.... What's the difference between one for trucks with and or without SAI?

Amazon say the silla doesn't fit a 2004. Hmmm....

SAI has a sensor in the radiator that helps tell the computer if the thermostat is stuck open or something. You can use it for non-sai, just leave the plug in, or if it's used, leave the sensor there.

It's not really part of the SAI system, it's part of the ULEV system that SAI is also part of.

My D2 does not have SAI. I put in the SAI spec radiator the plug seemed to leak so I just screwed in an old sensor I had from another old project.
