I saw this episode a long time ago. Their biggest mistake was getting a V8 to resell in the UK. Spoiler... they don't make much money on the sale in the end.

I recorded the D90 episode and watched it last night. Regardless of the V8, the cosmetic upgrades made for a hell of a turnaround in appearance. I thought it looked great when they were finished.

Is it me or does it seem that they never make that much profit on any of their sales? They buy something for $4k put another $2k into it and sell it for $6,500. A lot of work for only a $500 profit!

That said, I still love watching the show!

Some episodes they crush the sale. If you Wikipedia the show it has a tally and breakdown by episodes. They've only had a handful of losses. I think total profits was like 10-20k or so. That's the show though. They just attempt to make a profit and usually succeed.

Did anyone notice how the front grill was destroyed again by the time they sold it?

It started out straight, and got all wavy with a quickness.

Maybe the heat from the Rad?

Again. That's the point. It's what one can profit on flipping cars by doing minor restoration work one's self outsourcing the minimum to maximize one's profit.
I would hardly call making 500 BP in ...say 10 days divided by 2 a profit.

Looked like it had hit a pole right in the middle, but I guess it could have been warped from heat. I wish they would have purchased five wheels and tires...hate that steel spare on the rear door. Loved the black diamond plate, AND black rivets.
