Did anyone see the Spongebob episode with the pro jellyfisher Kevin Cucumber?

Patrick and Spongebob had an opportunity to meet Kevin and talk jellyfishing, but were were so enamored by Kevin's mere presence all they could say was "Hi Kevin".

This pissed Kevin off, and he manipulated their adoration into many obscene acts. This manipulation of Bob and Patrick enraged Kevin's groupies and they alienated Kevin Cucumber, who ended up dying poor and alone. (okay, I made up the death part)

This thread reminds me of Spongebob and Kevin Cucumber in a twisted sort of way.

If Kevin W. comes here and acts like a man, all I'll say is "Hi Kevin?.
I promise.

Might be at Weanie Hut Jr's or the Goofy Goober!

Like I said - KW will NEVER show up here on DWEB again! Don't hold your breath gentleman - he aint got the guts!

If that were only the case.

Any asshat that signs up under a fake screen name is bound to be a gutless peice of shit and do it again.

There are many cross forum users anyway. I am sure that circle jerk is still being kept abreast of the the activity here.

God knows they whine about DWeb on a regular basis anyways.

He just might be in SY nuclear sub, no need to surface. But I'll willing to wait and see how long it takes to get an explanation, or for him to move onto another LR forum.

If only. My guess is that he'll log on as a guest in like a thief in the middle of the night...

We could vastly improve this site by IP banning Canada.
Or at least not be annoyed so much.

Getting all your peckers twisted in a knot, to see who goes first with the goat?

So with all of you trying to look brave and cool , how many villages are without their idiots...
Rino,

This is not a personal attack on you or Kevin - just an observation.

I understand your desire to defend a stranger who lent you a hand on a trail. However (as Eric Siepmann said), in most places, groups, and types of sport in the "wilderness" helping someone goes without saying anything - it's what's expected of you and what you can count on from the others. It doesn't imply friendship, or any extraordinary human qualities or display of character.
So, should I have been helped by someone who's an obvious tool in general, I'd felt compelled to say something like "In his defense, ..."
See the difference?

There's another issue - the fact that he helped you (or two, or million others) has nothing to do with the article in Difflock, nor his vying for all sorts of positive visibility.

What have you accomplished? You sure haven't helped him in any way, maybe worse - the thread could've died without the last three pages devoted mostly to yourself.

I disagree, nothing that I did in this thread could of made things worst for K. That was done by him. I just had enough of the BS!

Another point is that I think this is not just an attack on K. but a want to kick Canadians off the board.

If that is the case then just say so, and I am out of here. Thats it.

Born and raised Canadian! Got a problem with that ??

Rino,

Having retired from the USAF I have a little different perspective maybe. I have spent a lot of time in Canada and with Canadian military all over the world. I also had the pleasure of participating in some airshows in Canada. One of the best was the Ontario Airshow. Your guys treated us like royalty. I was there as a C-5 Galaxy flight engineer and had the strangest encounter with a kid. We were on the cargo floor with the jet opened up on both ends with a steady stream of folks walking through. This lady and what appeared to be a maybe 10~11 year old girl came up to me and started talking about the jet etc.. This little girl knew more about the C-5 than some fellow crew members (slight exaggeration). She impressed me so much with her enthusiasm and knowledge that I gave her my patches, my scarf, and whatever else I had C-5. I don't know what this has to do with anything, but I hadn't thought about that in years. It was back in '94 I think when this took place.

Cheers,

Mike

Mike,

I know it was not you!

BTW the Ottawa Air show is June 28, the Snowbirds from Borden and the USAF Thunderbirds will both show off their wares ...

in '78 I was flying the 101Wonder, VooDoo's in Bagotville till '82.. Just loved the NATO drills, though. Had a great time when in '81 a squadron of F15's made it to Bagotville for a mock up Air Combat drill. If you remeber at that time we were shadowing the SU 27 and did not have a chance in hell against them with the equipment we had.

Thanks,

We made our skies safe !

Holy shit! I was stationed at RAF Bentwaters UK '80 to '82. The 81st TFW had four FOLs in Germany Alhorn, Norvenich, Leipien, and Sembach. We used to rotate our A10s in and out of the FOLs. I was a crew chief in those days. I remember exercises at Sembach with the Canadian 101s. You guys would mock bomb us. Oh the "good ole days" of wearing chem gear and doing combat turns!

Cheers,

Mike
