Did this thing fall off my truck?

I found this on the garage floor under the front of the truck when I backed out today. I have no idea what the hell it is, and I must've spent an hour in the garage looking for something it might have come off of. Pretty sure this doesn't go to anything on the rover, but just seeing if maybe it's something obvious like something on a light housing or similar. I'm dumbfounded.

Looks like something that might have fallen off a cheap ratchet ... like it slips over the end and you can use it to finger-tighten. Certainly doesn't look like anything I've seen on any of my rigs.

As I suspected. PT is probably right. I remember dropping a whole box of cheap tools the other day. That's gotta be where it came from. Just making sure it wasn't something to do with the headlight adjustment gears, the toothed edge had me wondering.

Nah, those things only leave fluids on the floor. Anyone who thinks rovers are the kings of marking their territory has never owned a Volvo

It fell off your wifes lovers truck when he had it parked in the garage so your neighbors wouldn't see...you don't need it.
No wife around these parts. Maybe it was someone robbing my house.

Looks like one of the birth control rings. Set it aside, that chick from last night will most likely stop by to pick it up today.

Have you had your truck in for service recently?
Some shops sell fluid additive packages from BG, Wynn's, ect... The mechanic dumps a can of additive in the fuel tank, crankcase, ect... In the bottom of the can is a plastic token. You have to rip the top of the can off to get the token out. Every once in a while, the BG or Wynn's guy comes around & gives you a quarter for green tokens, 50 cents for orange ones, and $1.00 for gold ones. I still have some I never got redeemed:

Mine look pretty similar to yours, just without the ridges. Maybe a mechanic left one in your engine bay.
