The rack is still for sale and is located in western MA. I have no idea how to ship it, and would rather not have to deal with packaging it. But let me know if you want it...something could be worked out. I have received a few emails already...nothing serious.

Right now I have no use for the rack and I am at the max height for my parking garage in the city. My truck is actually shorter now with all the mods than it was stock with the rack on.

Jamil, just curious how much do you want for it. I am at school in Boston and live in CT so shipping wouldnt be an issue. Thanks

I'm runnin' 255/ 85's on a 98' D1 and it wasn't tooo bad with 3.54 gears but the 4.11's put the life back in er'. I just saw a cool gear ratio forumal in Oct. issue of 4wheeler (which they posted my truck in the readers rides, which is kind of cool) that lets you calculate your proper gear to tire ratio. Its is: new tire size divided by old tire size mulitipled by original axle ratio. For a D1 with 255/85's it goes like this... 33 divided by 28.5 = 1.1579
1.1579 x 3.54 = 4.09. So, 4.11's work out to be a good ratio to get things back in proportion.

Jamil,

How did you adjust the steering stops in the front? And where did you relocate the washer bottle? Have any pics of this ?

Thanks,
Peter

Randy,

I?m thinking on purchasing the same setup (driveshafts. Axel, etc) that you have on your Disco. I still have the stock tires, I feel like putting the 255/85/16 tires right away or shut I wait until November when I purchase the driveshafts, axels, lockers and gear??

Any thoughts on this,
Peter

Wait on the tires til you have the rest done.
