New owner of an older discovery II (1999 4.0l with 197k).

I have had this rig for about 6000 miles. I had the entire brake system replaced (all if it) and a new serp belt. Ran like a dream up until last week. I will break it down in a timeline.
  • oil change (noticed he put 10-30w). about 50 miles and a day later the truck started to lose power, as if i were pulling a trailer.
  • my brother replaced a bit of the new oil with a Lucas oil product; gave some better performance for 100 miles or so but still felt heavy...
  • used a Lucas deep clean with premium fill up (only use premium as did original owner), gained better performance for 100 miles or so.
  • started rough 3 days ago and took longer to settle the idle. when pulled away the green M&S indicator light flashed. i restarted and all was okay other than "heavy" feeling
  • the following day, the same issue with M&S light but after restarting and driving 20 miles, the Service Engine Soon light flashed, became constant for a couple miles then started flashing again. i was 2 miles from home so i drove and parked it.
  • yesterday it started, but was really weak. the SES light still on constant and the SRS light is now on.
  • today it wont start. it turns over, but it doesnt spark? it wont start.
  • currently waiting on shop appointment if needed.
  • diagnostic codes: p1590, p0303, p1300, p0302, p0335, p0304, p0307
  • pending code's: p0154, p0300, p0304 and A\T p1884

I have checked inertia switch, and no change. Where do I start?
I love this truck... Its was purchased for wheeling and became my daily driver out in the Pacific Northwest.

Title sais 1999 Land Rover Discovery 1SD, whether that is accurate, I am not sure.
Does this sound like an electrical issue? Alarm issue? Ckps? Fuel? I can have it towed from where it sits for $450 and that's from a friend. My options are limited to find what will get it running so I can drive it to GreenOval and put that saved tow $ into the disco. Sound advice or bust...

I agree dash lights make it sound like a DII. If the title says DI have you confirmed it matches the VIN? Are your outside door handles recessed levers or pull handles? Knowing what vehicle you have will make trouble shooting easier.

Kinda sounds like you have a DII, but, I'm not here to argue with you. Have you tried putting lift spacers on it?

This.

We need to know what we're talking about.

Then the op can put spacers, a diesel, and a light rail on it. ;)

If your friend is charging $450 for a tow I think you need a new friend.

Agreed. My driveway bridge won't take a big wrecker. Small wreckers can't make it up my driveway. It is what it is. I have several rigs that have difficulty getting up to my home. The tow is doable but difficult and costly. I need new friends anyways, as none of them will help with this disco project.

Insurance card said d1. Newbie (me) still doesn't know what I own. Original owner said d1. Paperwork said d1. Maybe I am a bit simple but are d1's and d2s drastically different in 99? I just need to to start so I can derive to shop vs tow.

Only thing I have done with this disco is new serp belt, new brake system and flushes. I have not done anything else to it other than drive. If that cats were plugged, wouldn't it still start? Even if I can get it running only to get down my property, it will save me some cheese. I turned it over for 30 seconds, it won't catch.
