Attempting to find out how many out there have this setup.

Also; Post a comment on whether or not you have had any trouble with it.

Again; this is for a BOSCH engine (DII).

I think there was only about 3 or 4 sets made.......

......at least at first.

I know of one brand new in the box. But I think the price just went up ;)

Jason Bard in MD has one.

I've got one, not installed yet, was going to do it in conjunction with my heads.

What's the deal, is there a thread or a synopsis of the issue(s)?

The poll is for those who have the setup for DII Bosch.

We already know that many have had success with the GEMS, but that is NOT what we are asking here. :banghead:

Are you asking what is different between custom cam kits, or motors themselves?

Maybe a comprehensive comparison between the 2 motors (especially the front covers), as well as the timing gear mod for each could shed some light on this.

The reason for the poll was that I wanted to find out how many have the Bosch setup out there and of those how many have had problems.

Although a very small sampling so far, 2 of the 3 installations (me and Hunter) that I know of are having trouble.

I do not know whether Jason Bard has had issues or not.

I just PMed him, but not sure if he hangs here or not.

Something sure seems to be different...

I'll ask JJ, he doesn't come here anymore, I'll send him a link to the thread, but I don't think he's having issues with his D&D setup.

Yep, I have this setup. I think I may have actually been the first experiment..

It's rarely driven anymore and since the install I've put less than 10k miles on it.
I expected it to give me a little bit more ass, but no problems really to speak of.
