Gave as much as I can. Go Vols

So apparently this is where D'Web derives from, according to Google. (I spy a Roverish looking vehicle in the back, I think)

So creepy that the internet has that power

Thanks to Kennith for starting this thread, and thanks to all you cheap fucks for couching up a few bucks. :) It is helpful, really.

The goal here is just to keep the site self sufficient. Nobody ever made any money off Dweb, but that has never been the purpose of the site anyway.

This ain't over yet.

Sooo why are the frequent posters on other threads not "literally" throwing their two cents in? Brett, PT, others. Yes shaming is a motivator here.

I suspect they are waiting for Monday, when an event called "work" occurs.

As I understand the practice, the objective is fucking around for eight hours a day while simultaneously attempting to appear as if participating in the opposite. This is a compensated activity; the next step of which is to deny sufficient payment.

A known exception is PT, whose particular weekday pass-time involves bullshitting while driving in circles.:D

Regardless of their Monday to Friday experiences, they'd better show up here soon. PT will show up soon, and a few others are deciding whether or not to post, and therefore appear to admit that I reminded them of something.

Having supported and helped create the world of Discoweb in the past is not a free pass today. That was then, and this is now. At least one person in this thread joined only last month, which makes supporting the forum some of us have enjoyed for over a decade one of his first actions within the community.

He stepped right in and set an example. That should make everyone else feel like shit. I've got the emotional depth of a frozen brick, and even I noticed.

I've got my eye on this thread; and yeah, I'm keeping a list, and I'll check that shit twice every fucking month. Donation is an easy, financially painless process if everyone takes part as they are meant to.

I've updated my signature for the first time. Now, no matter where you are on this forum, your donation is only one click away. I know damned well everyone will see the link, because you'll land right on it when you skip past my long, rambling posts.

So, the rest of you get in here and do your part. As of this post, the thread has 448 views. Even if half of those are repeats after logging out, we should have quite a few more names in here by now.

Cheers,

Kennith

none of your fucking business
I imagine you'd probably have a nervous fucking breakdown....

Although...I think the club could probably auction off an hours' conversation with you.

"Ask Kennith's opinion about the engineering of the Discovery II's dome light...I'll start the bidding at $250"

Yes, you heard me right.....the Kennith.
