AMG retuned 200 W124s and sold them on showroom floors. You could purchase everything from the coupe to the wagon in AMG trim.
Never heard of that before, until now. We don't see much pre 129 era benzs, I'd like to drive a well set up 500e. We have one customer with a 500e 124 but its not in tip top shape and always refuses the work it needs....it needs rescued and brought back to life.

That said there also a huge number of mitz's with head gasket issues here.... But lots of vehicles here have hat issue. USE ANTIFREEZE people, it's also good for the metal/gaskets. Crikey.
That was my daily driver when I was stationed in Japan from '05-08. Had a laundry list of upgrades, and boy do I miss that wagon. It will be legal to import and own in the US in 2021
