Is that yours? It's lovely but a buddy of mine picked up a light hit 08 M5 for the same money last year. That one is well sorted but way way over priced.

No, not mine.. My brother in law sold it to that guy (and misses it enough that he's thinking about buying it back..)

It is sad to see the amount of completely ragged out e30's, e36's, and even e46's that are completely ragged out. But then again as we get older we appreciate them even more than when we had them. It seems like the newer cars rolling thru the shop are designed like mobile phones...make them flashy but know that they will be tossed quicker than they were bought when the next one comes out.
I should've bought one of those euro s52 tall blocks from bimmer world when they had them.
As far as the post about this being over priced, e60 m5's are great but most owners would rather give their e60's away even an M. Shit we have a customer that was offered $5k for his very clean 211 E55 AMG by the dealer and carmax...these newer cars don't have the following the older ones do

'88 325IX all wheel drive, 5 speed 2 door. Ported, polished, balanced and blueprinted. Big valves, 3 angle grind, head decked, aggressive cam, ECU mapped on a dyno.... Solid bushing suspension with custom camber plates etc. Big brake kit front and rear. Limited slip diff in rear and center and custom gears in both diffs for track (lower ratios, I forget what). Car hauls ass and pulls like a train. Has 4 point harnesses that flip out of the way for day to day use. Fun. :)

audi floor mats dont make it awd....;)

i can say i have never seen a 325XI e30 though. cool.

yeah 6-7k. no lie.

i have seen a few e46 that have buckled roof lines from being tracked too hard.... lease returns at that! guys that have access to the auctions, look at some and see how many transmissions and diffs are in the service history, and look in the pics for the signs of the bolt in cage. we had like 6 or 7 e46 m3's that were leased like that. one i KNOW for a fact rolled off the track and was fixed under the table and turned in. another was a regular in the old gumball rally.... crazy people.

I had to put those in..... I've been a hard core Audi guy for a long long time. After going to "The Dark Side" I had to represent. ha ha ha.

Plus while the Audi certainly has a superior AWD system, this 60-40 split diff on the E30 has a REALLY fun RWD bias - such a "toss-able" little car.

;)

Still regret selling our 1986 320i Eurospec (even the manual was in German). That little 4 banger was awesome on fuel and went like stink. Every time I see the guy I sold it to I ask if he has plans to part with it but he's enjoying it to much too.

Doesn't any body keep their cars clean anymore?

I love how the E30 with a limited slip goes around corners in the neighborhoods at 15 mph right after a recent rain -- better than Disneyland.
