easy stub axle question

So I'm balls deep in swapping to 24 spline rear diff. I decided to fire up the old RAVE manual. In the diagram in the manual they show this "stub axle joint washer" its between the axle case and stub axle. I am assuming this is pretty critical. I'm converting from non-abs 10 spline to 24 spline ABS parts.

It's a paper gasket.

Just smear some silicone gasket stuff on there and forget the paper gasket.

If you go with the Right Stuff gasket maker, you can remove the bolts after it sets and use them for something else...

I prefer Permatex 2B myself.

I just spit on it then bolt it up.
