I was just over EE looking for OME springs and noticed the diff's they list have the bearings already pressed on them. Is this how they sell them?

$620 at EE. $498 at Lucky 8. And $459 at GBR.
You're not going to do much better than Lucky or GBR on price I don't believe.

pressing bearings on your diff is going to be the easiest part of installing TT's so I wouldn't worry too much about that fact

I know TT are my next upgrade. I'd prefer Quaife, but at well over $1000 per axle, I'll settle for less. Maybe in the future a TT up front and a Quaife in back.

Yeah, I am interested, too. What makes Quaife better than a TT?

Quaifes react almost instantaneously where as the TT takes several revolutions. The Quaife fills the gap between the TT and the Detroit.

How do you know that if you don't have either?

I'll spare you the explanations - what you said is pure BS.

True except for what I do a locker is overkill. I'm not an extreme offroader and if, in the rare instance I have a wheel with no traction, then I use the throttle-brake modulation or work the grey matter for another solution. I accept the challenge without lockers.

That what I've been saying before the challenges ran out.
Are we settled on understanding that Quaife works the same way as TT, and TT reacts instantaneously?
BTM won't work when you have two wheels in the air. In this situation, BTM with TT will walk you over.

Research. Lots of research. And talking with people that have had both. Years ago when I bought my Rover, I was decided on ARBs. Something told me to wait. And as I spent the last few years reading and researching, I'm glad I waited and settled on the TT.
I don't like spending good money after bad. I don't drop a grand before doing at least 2 years research on something. I want to know the ins and outs, what I'm gaining and what I'm giving up.
