would it be very difficult to swap a 4.0L and manual transmission from a 96 d1 to a rrc? i keep reading how similar they are, i think it would be sweet to have a 5speed range rover

or even better could the trans go into like a 4.0 p38 ?

It would be much easier to do with the RRC than the P38.

If you have the pedal box, it's easier.
