extra part from engine replacement

Looks like one of the brackets that goes on the back of one of the heads for holding a connector. Could be a the crank position sensor one, or an O2 sensor (although I seem to remember them being longer).

X2 The bracket holds the connector for the Crank Position Sensor. Good luck in putting the bracket on the back of the head as I could barely get the connector back into the bracket after replacing the sensor.

2003 Discovery 131K with all high miles service complete - now on to the fun stuff.

Yeah....I don't play games back there anymore. I just throw a jack and some wood under the pan and pull the motor mounts, then drop the whole thing as low as it will go.

It takes it from "are you f-ing kidding me?" to "moderately annoying."

thanks, it was the spot on the driver side head in the rear for the crank position sensor, its back on now, but would have much easier if done earlier in the process :)
