The F2 fuse under the hood of my 03 Disco keeps blowing and setting off my Check engine light. I can't seem to locate where it is shorting out. I tried to look for a wire diagram in my RAVE manual, but there doesn't seem to be one.

Biggest reason for attacking this now is because i'm getting about 100 miles per gallon less on a full tank.

Could someone tell me what runs off of the F2 fuse?

Thanks,

thats great. Thanks for the help. I've already replaced my my crankshaft sensor, and purge valve. Anyone ever herd of the other 2 shorting out that fuse, or would it most likely be an exposed wire?

Thanks,

The O2 sensor wires are the most likely culprit, they never seem to be clipped up properly. The crankshaft sensor is in a shielded sheath. The wires to the camshaft sensor are another possible, they go through a clamp under a water pump bolt.

MAF wires you can do a visual on, but also check the main loom as much as possible, especially round the back of the engine.

Hi Paul:

Been busy..,

Won't be over this year, blown all of our money on the new trailer/RV that we built.

Just passed 35k miles on the engine rebuild, going well.

Thinking about shipping the trailer and engine and Disco over for a month or so, at least I know where I can get it repaired...

Keep laughing,

Peter
