Where can I buy land rover service tools, Like LST134? No one has o2 socket. Box wrench no good. Many sets of cats I want to take sensors out of. Napa told me a 17mm o2 socket doesn't exist. I told them it has to.

Are you looking to reuse the O2 sensors? If not, just snip the wires off the sensor and use a deepwell socket.

IIRC the O2 sensors are recessed into the bung, so that is why a standard wrench will not work.

Perhaps yours are different?

If I can use an adjustable spanner, the hexagon must be accessible. The threaded mountings are flush at the entry point, nothing on there to shield from a spanner.

I did this. Some are sill being difficult. In hindsight, I shouldn't have used a 12 pt. open end rounded off sensor. Was gonna keep the sensors in tact. Have 6 sets of ypipes with o2s. Was gonna blast clean the tubing. Wanted sensors out. Great discussion. That's why I like this forum.

That photo right there, that's a terrible way to remove an 02 sensor.
