Just got the fault code P1300 "catalyst damaging missfire, multiple missfires"

what could cause this? I just passed 60K miles and have an service scheduled for Monday. I am assuming I shouldnt drive on this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So replace plugs and wires? I am assuming catalyst and the cat converters? These hopefully wont need to be replaced, or will they. Also it is safe to drive the 10 miles to the dealer?

Thank you!

If your OBD II code reader has freeze frame data, then find out when the fault occured. ( out of 10 of my CEL's occur WHEN STARTING THE VEHICLE, or shortly there after. I log the date, code, and conditions in my logbook, clear the code, and go on w/my life. I do look @ the pending codes & I do repair my Rover as needed, but unlike the "American" brands, the Rover CEL stays on until it is shut off by someone. A ford for instance will usually turn itself off after X# of "clear cycles", where as the Rover, to my knowledge, will not. Thank You, LRW.
