none of your fucking business
My family spent a few years out in Colorado Springs while my dad was at NORAD right after the Rockies started up. We used to go watch the Colorado farmteam the skysocks play, and I have always been a fan. I think this may be our year...GO ROCKIES!

2 down, 1 to go!

Huh?, best of 7 series! 2 Down, 2 to Go. Bev and I made that last game of the regular season when they clinched a tie for the Wild Card. We had the KOA seats! Place was Rockin. What a bookend. We made the very first Rockies game at Mile High in 1993, 80,000+ fans and the last game of this regular season run which has been ranked up with the 27 Yankees. Some good years, 95, and lean years.

Glad they changed the dynamics of Coors Field several years ago. Humidor + longer infield grass = small ball wins. No longer a home run park. Along those lines the TBS announcer team are dumber than a rock. Last night they said the AZ pitcher curve balls weren't breaking as much because of "altitude". Ah, Phoenix is ~1200 ft.

I told Bev in the spring the Rockies were going to the World Series. She looked at me and laughed. Hah! See you at Coors Field for Rockies vs. Sox. That will be a good series.

I'm a Braves fan.. so seeing as how thats eternally frustrating I have been rooting for the Rockies, just because that's awesome they're donating the winnings to the minor league coach's family. GO ROCKIES!

Its quite a story, major bandwagoning since they sucked for years and no one thought anything would happen this year until... Most people in Denver are transplants and think the Rockies have always been around forever but we had no pro baseball until 93', anyone remember the Denver Bears? Mark you forgot to mention that first game was played in the broncos football stadium (pre coors field) with the 80k fans doing the wave cause they didn't know any better.

Remember the Denver Bears / Zephyrs . . .

Yes the first two seasons were at Mile High, 93-94.

Good game tonight despite the cold and wet. Can't believe there were no errors.

1 more game!
