Just looking for some suggestions for a good flintlock black powder rifle. I want to pick one up that uses pellets and loose powder.

Thanks,

Mike

I don't know if this helps, but...

Many moons ago when I lived in PA (blackpowder for deer means flintlock and iron sights - no inline crap) a lot of guys bought the kits from Cabela's/Bass Pro, and assembled themselves. It was a little bit cheaper, but they did it mostly because that was their inclination - to build it themselves

Ive been looking around as with everything the sky is the limit cost wise. There are some really nice "kits" and there are some really shitty kits. There are a few guys in WNC building flintlocks and selling kits. Ill try to root up my information.
