I had a bad day at the office only to return home to find that the tags have been suspended on my RRC since June 2006. The letter said I failed to get it emission tested. I have the emission inspection certificate dated May 2006 valid until May 2008. Watching this video makes me smile.
I was out today being charged for no inspection on a car I sold two years ago... Dicks. Now it's probably all over my credit, because a collection agency sent the letter. I called the number and they said press one to pay my dept, or press two to dispute it. I pressed two and then it said to take the letter to the DMV and hung up on me.
"Sir, you need to prove you sold the vehicle."
"I don't have to prove anything, this isn't my mistake, and you aren't getting any money. I should think it fairly obvious that I am, in fact, doing someone elses job by showing up here. So, type on your little computer there, and find the place that says I sold it, because you are the ones who filed the paperwork when I did."

"Here you are sir, now take this to the patrol station, and they will straighten it out."
"That wasn't so hard, was it?"
Cheers,
