I lost one not too long ago and I was at NAPA trying to find the right bolt by using nuts they had that threaded onto the other caliper bolt I had. yeah, not the best of time.

magnet tray for me. trick is to ACTUALLY use it and put things in there when taking it apart. Got in to the habit while building bikes, lots of tiny little pieces and parts.

You're preaching to the choir.

I've also taken to including bits of hardware with each UK order. Better to ship parts than air.

paul, world pac sells a lot of rover hardware. i found out when i was killing some time one day. but you have to enter the rover part number in the search box. i know they have all the hardware for the valley pan job (intake bolts and vc bolts) and water pump. (bosch motors).

there are actually more then one size for the caliper bolts...strange but true.

the ones on the early range rovers and some 94 and 95 discos are smaller then the later D1 bolts.

thats exactly true im removing the orig axles from my 88 and installing some new toy conversion axles that i built from a d1 all together and i have been doing this for about a year now so bolts have got lost!

i found out that they are still available from rover and i got some coming in today at work.....1.67 ea my cost!
