3.9 with serp belt or 3.9 with v belts? i think there may be a difference in the oil pump between v and serp belts, but not 100% sure. 3.5 and 3.9 v belts are probably exact same.

I have a 94 DI with a serpentine belt so I guess that won't work. What rovers did come with the V belts, 3.9 RRC? Thanks for the help guys. After looking at the prices of the timing covers brand new, I am trying to find one off of something that is being parted out. The cover is going on a 3.5L RRC. Thanks again!

Does anyone have any ideas on how to get the crankcase pulley bolt off? I know that that bolt is torqued on there pretty tight but there has to be a way to get it off. I have tried holding the pulley, but that clearly won't work I have also tried jamming a wrench in between the frame and the pulley but that didn't work either. Also, is the bolt regular or reverse thread? Thanks and sorry for all the questions. I just can't get the pulley to not spin while I try to loosen the bolt.

easiest way i've found is with an impact gun. crank up the air and pop it off. regular thread. people have also put on a wrench, make sure free end is against the frame and then blipped the starter.

I was able to get the pulley off. I tried the impact wrench with no success so I jamed a torque wrench in there against the frame and bump started and the bolt finally broke loose. I need to search before asking, found an old thread with info. Anyway thanks PT, and Robbie. Merry X-mas.
