Front diff leaking. How to fix it?

Yesterday I found my first leak (from SAE 80w90:bigok: ).
Oil is coming out from a solder seam in the axle body...:ack:
Has anyone had this type of leak? How can I fix it?
It seems I have to dismantle the complete axle in order to repair it, isn?t?

I've heard of folks having good luck just welding it in situ. Degrease it really, really, really well, drain the oil out of it and weld 'er up! The tubes are a lot thicker than you think they are, turn the current up.
