Front spring install

Installing springs and shocks on my D1 rear was fairly straight forward. Front I’m having issues with. I’ve got everything unbolted jack up one side it doesn’t go up enough to pull spring out. Sway bar is unbolted from frame. Which one of the other bars do I need to unbolt. Don’t remember having this much trouble with my 03.

loosen the frame end radius arm bolt. That will let it drop some more too.

i always use jack stands on the frame and let the whole diff hang free never had a issue.

I have always let it hang and used a spring compressor. Just needs a little compression and will fall right out with shock.

put a small jack between the axle and frame to push the axle down.. easy peasy.

Yes, use a jack between axle and frame, to push the axle DOWN just a bit more -- and it works a treat. Just did this last month on my D2.
