Yes, I had two injectors leaking and I replaced all of them with the set I bought from this guy. I did not get them through ebay and paid 183.

your truck is running well with these? I'm wondering if they are close enough to spec to not cause problems.

No problems at all that I did not have before replacing. The truck runs rich, it has for some time and no one seems to have any advice on the matter this was and is still the case. Replacing the leaking injectors has fixed the cold start problem I was having. Where in chicago are you from?

Those injectors have a slightly higher flow rate than the OEM Rover injectors. This may result in enriching the A/F misture as the ECU can't compensate for much variation.

Some folks claim that modifying the fuel pressure regulator will alleviate this issue, but I've not tried it yet.

I have tried 24 PPH injectors with some dgree of success. Cold start performance was great, but fuel economy was terrible. If you can afford the fuel, there are worse things than a rich mixture-although it may lead to accelerated deposition of carbon on the exhaust valves. And, we all know what that leads to.

Peace,
PT

Well.. I am about to install those tonight (or die trying)

Personally I dont think that rich running gonna be any worse than leaky injectors :) Plus there ought to be way to compensate it either with ECU or by tuning ignition a tad (more powerfull and longer spark shall burn fuel better?).. Anyway - got to bite the bullet, seeing that my 94 still got original ones and they are.. ahem.. not quite well.

Ive had them for just about a year now, no problems. It even passed NY emissions test better than some new cars.
If you're gonna change out injectors, make sure you check the condition of the rail too. Mine was clogged up with rust....looked like coffee grinds!

The Lucas 14 CU(x) engine management system has a limited ability to control the air/fuel ratio.

With a vehicle less likely to suffer from carbon buildup requiring valve jobs, I'd agree with the comment about running rich, but with a Rover that runs rich enough to begin with and has a tendency to carbon up the valves, I disagree.

GM 3.0 litre engines use an acceptable injector.

Thanks Paul. I guess this is where my concern is... I'm not really sure where to look for manufacturer info for a closer match. And if there is, is it that much less than buying OEM?

another injector ? & replacement options

What tool is everyone using to test the fuel rail pressure? Can anyone provide a link to a supplier or can I get that @ any parts store? I have looked into the five0 replacement injectors but has anyone else found other options? There was a discussion months ago about some corvette replacement injectors...

I have a hard start issue, truck won't start without fully depressing gas pedal... new fuel pump, filter & no OBD codes... 100k so figure injectors are the weak link... once truck starts.. there's a poof of fuel laden smoke... then truck runs fine...
Thanks.

You're welcome!

The Rover injectors flow approximately 175 ml/min +/-
17 pph, a 19 PPH injector will work well.

coil resistance is 16 ohms.

Go from there!

If I was you I would consider having my injectors flowed and serviced to see how they are working and to revive them if they are out of spec. I use a place called Witch Hunter Performance to get injectors serviced and they do a great job. $12 per injector gets them flow tested, cleaned, and flow tested again. http://witchhunter.com/injectorserv1.htm
