Fuel pump normal operation?

hear what i'm pretty sure is the fuel pump running after i shut the engine off. noticed it in the last month, but don't recall hearing before that. is this normal?

well - what else makes a mechanical whirring noise from the rear pf the vehicle? i mean, it could be dildo the previous owner hid in the cargo area side panel, but short of that I'm at a loss...

I guess you could always pull the fuel pump fuse while you hear it "running". If the noise stops, it's the fuel pump. If it doesn't, it's the dildo.

Pull the access hatch. The next time it makes the noise, confirm that is the source of the noise.

Or, I think you should remove the entire wiring harness as it is obvious to me that is the source of your problem.

See, making sure we know what the problem is makes more sense than throwing parts at the truck, doesn't it?

No, he should definitely replace the dildo. If that doesn't work, then do the wire harness and fuel pump.
