anyone know where i might be able to get the fuel pump harness/pigtail, two wire setup that goes directly to the pump inside the tank? looks like it has been messed with, and a little burned up so i'd like to swap it out before i have more problems.. thx:patriot:

if its bad enough to swap out then you might as well just get rid of the plug, crimp the wires together, and shrink wrap it. $0.50 < ???

I had the same issue and I've always wonder why this problem hasn't been more common with Disco's. Out of the clear blue sky my engine wouldn't start, crank but no start. I had no previous driveability problems so this caught me by surprise.

Fuel pump harness was burnt.

Removed burnt connect, crimp on new terminal ends

Connect terminal ends to fuel pump and used a piece of fuel hose to prevent them from touching each other

Problem solved for $0.00
