Hello, well I'm sick of waiting for the dealer to get me a new tank...

I checked on the rave and searched here and there is no mention on how to remove it, my questions are:

-can I remove it without taking the hitch supports off?
-can I replace this tank for a newer Disco 98 tank? it seems that mine has a bunch of little hoses on top of the tank and the 98 doesn't?

I have a 95 LWB RRC

thanks,

Simon

Find another dealer or go above their heads. It's free, my local dealer scheduled me on Monday and did the work on Friday. Took less than 2 hours.

Call LRNA and tell them your dealer is dragging their feet.

I can't imagine a dealer not wanting to do this job, it's GRAVY for the techs and a great opportunity to upsell stuff. Whatever you do, do not let them try to force you into buying a new fuel pump or lines. Your fuel pump and lines were fine until they needed to take it out due to a defect on their part. You cannot be held responsible for repairs necessitated due to a recall.

Thanks PT, I did call Ft. Lauderdale and they will order the parts and call me back to take the truck in... I didn't want to take my truck for them to check anything and then call me... this is how I got to where I am with the other dealer....

never know, maybe the haven't got any tetanus shots lately... they will need them with my truck...
