I have a 1990 RRC with the updated resistors for the heater blower motor. When the truck is first started the blower motor will not run. After a short time it will run and operate as normal until the engine is shut off. Both relays for the circuit are good. I cannot find the ground for this circuit in my manual. Can someone tell me where it is? Any other Ideas? It's not very warm here.

Thanks AJ

PT, Please don't say that. The air conditioner fans act the same so I was kind of ruling the heater fan motor out.

I'm next on the blower motor replacement. bearings squeal and last week it stopped running for a while. I'll wait til it's warmer to try replacing it. (and the a/c t-stat)

I am on the list for blower motor, too. Did the heater core some time ago and felt too confident in the blower (cheap bastard) to replace. It quit a short time ago and winter is in full force. Oh goodie, another 12 hours or so and big f'n mess.

My '88 decided that the blower would slow WAY down.

One of the things I was excited about with this truck was that the blower worked on all speeds...

Paul, how many hours do you charge to do a blower motor?
