It has not been posted over here yet I see so I will.

Keith at Rovertracks.com has heavy duty CV's for the D1,RRC and defenders back in stock.

He worked long and hard to bring these back at a great price for the community and Keith has always been a great vendor to work with. So talk to your loved ones and tell them what you want for christmas because the CV's are back in town!!!

I like Keith, but the CVs in my '95 Disco have 230K on them and are still going strong :D

They are not known to break driving to the mini mart.:D

get some real tires and take it on real trails and the stock CV's go boom! there is no debate on that fact.

AFIRover, who is running 35s has blowed up three front diffs and five rear diffs and still has the same CV joints and enough plumbing in the roll cage to make a new alaskan pipeline....

there I fixed it for you.

Paul the fact that gary ran stock diffs with 35" tires is enough reason to not care what he runs or what he has broken. the only thing exotic about that 4x4 was the mind of the guy behind the wheel.

stock CV's break. ask any of the guys that really use their trucks and you will hear the same story. How do you think guys become able to change CV in under 30 min on the trail?

LOL, were you there when he ran the pipline a few years back?

The rollcage has been cut down drastically, along with the rest of the truck.

There is a back story to the axles that I'm not at liberty to disclose, but let's just say he's got plans, but the vendor hasn't held up their end. I suspect there will be a Salisbury in back pretty soon (gee, I wonder where he'd get one of those?).

Gary is pretty damned exotic! If you knew him well, you'd know he is WITHOUT doubt, the most generous person you could hope to meet.

I'm hoping that next year's season will allow me a chance to get out and have some fun.

I dont doubt that...just saying 35's and open stock diffs is akin to tic tic tic tic:D

It's silly to use the fact that he broke diffs left and right and the CVs held up as a testament to the strength of the CVs. Stock LR diffs are weak and the CVs are slightly less weak.

If the truck is locked and has 35s, it will blow stock CVs, assuming it does more than mall crawling duty.

I hope that isn't a counterfeit Land Rover sweat shirt. You're going to get letters from people you don't want to hear from.
