Hi all,

I have started sorting-out various issues with my 96 Disco and have run across a few wire connectors that are not connected to anything. I have tried to locate them on RAVE, but have yet to identify what they might be. Could someone familiar with the interior electrical connectors take a look at the attached pictures and my descriptions and try to help me figure out what they belong to?

1) Was located under the sunroof switch box. It has no obvious connection anywhere. Wires are White-Black-Black

2) Located on the right side of the steering column. Wires are White-Purple, Purple, Blue.

3) Located by the interior fuse box. Wires are Red, Black, Brown, Blue.

Thanks for any and all help!

Salud,
Jon

Thanks for the reply Butch.

So I'll just assume that that one is meant to be a super-secret factory-installed mystery.

Any one have any ideas about the other two?

Hi all,

Thanks for all the replies (yes the horn does work).

The homelink idea for the one connection makes sense.

I am going to dig though RAVE in more detail and try to identify the under dash plug. I am thinking it might be for the missing CD player...

Other electrical issues I am currently trying to work out are:

1) Front fogs don't work (no power to the bulbs, I am thinking a blown relay or switch)

2) Rear wiper only works in conjunction with the washer button. So probably the wiper switch or relay?

3) Radio controls on dash do not work at all. No clue where to begin on this...

4) Rear window defroster does not seem to work. No clue where to begin on this.

Again thanks for all the help!

Salud,
Jon
