Several news services have reported that Hillary, responding to a question from a reporter, has now said "she would be open to being vice-president."

No repsonse from teh Obama camp as yet, but things should move pretty fast from here on out.

Personally, I don't think McCain has a snowballs chance in Hell if the two Democrats team up.

Please god no... Tonight is a celebrating night if she gets knocked out of the primary.

Obama needs someone like Edwards to balance out his campaign I think...

I'll probably still vote republican either way though.

Well, I don't support Obama at all, but I know from being asked about this previously, he indicated he would not be interested in having Hillary as a VP. Of course this doesn't really matter until they have officially come forward and declared Obama as the party nominee.

Amusing to watch the LSM try and manipulate the chess game.

Will the Clinton / Obama meeting be in Fort Marcy Park?

Not true! Obama replied when asked about Hillary being his VP, "she would be on anyone's short list".

That is a non-answer by Obama. Anyone's short list . . . but mine. Obama is supported by Kennedy. The Kennedy's and Clintons are vying for power within the Democrat Party. A radical Leftist and a Euro-Socialist/Neo-Conservative.

An Obama/Clinton ticket would be . . . . interesting.

Do you always try to spin everything to support your agenda?

The man just might have been assuring people that he was considering the idea. Truth is no one knows, yet.

Are you a DJ? ;)

I think the Dems would go with the H-rod, but I think it'd be a mistake. Edwards would be a much more balanced ticket. Everybody can get their mind around a honkey for VP, but a pants-wearing lesbo... Bush should have quit the war long ago and then maybe the GOP would have a shot.

You obviously have missed who "owns" the Democrat Party. The Kennedy's believe it is a birthright and that they own that Senate seat and have privilege within the party. They are 'old money', the elites. Ted is the Lion of the party. The Clinton's also believe they are privileged and consider themselves the center of power within the party. They are 'new money'.

When Kennedy endorsed Obama it was viewed as a clash of old money and new money elites, a clash of power centers.

No spin there, just reality. Bringing the two camps together will be difficult. Hillary would have more power in the Senate than as a VP.

If Hillary became VP she would have Obama assasinated (say that it was a hate crime) and then she woud get to be president.

haha. I could totally see her doing that.

Spin on top of spin...

Bill Clinton was a relatively unknown within the party before he became a candidate in the primaries. He captured a following by his straight talking and empathetic style.

Ted Kennedy just had his head opened up yesterdeay, the "Lion" will no longer have much of an impact; not that he and Kerry had much in the primary of their own state.

Obama has already established his appeal within the party, and without. Bringing Hillary onto the ticket would keep the momentium of this process going, together they have already established a "brand".

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if they don't announce the team later tonight or at least within the week.

H-Rod not conceding is exactly why she should NOT be the VP on the ticket. She's a greedy beeatch who doesn't know when to say when.

Or in other words, "she's a women who doesn't know her place?"
