With the ignition off, push and hold the odometer reset button, while holding the button turn the ignition switch to run position. Continue holding for about 10 seconds, the light will reset

I tried this on my 07 Civic Si and it didn't work.

this procedure turns off a 07 civic hybrid, haven't tried it on a SI yet.Sometimes you have to hold it for a while.

put the ignition key into the ignition but do not turn it ON

with one hand, push in and hold in the Trip Reset button at the bottom of your speedometer. this is the button that resets your trip odometer.

continue to hold the trip reset button in as you turn the ignition key ON. you do not have to start the engine.

continue to hold the trip reset button and watch the maintenance required light. after about 10-15 seconds that light should go out. when it does, use your free hand to turn the ignition key OFF

Not that anybody on here cares, but Honda has two different maint. reminder lights. The old type just counts miles and can be reset using the methods already mentioned. The new system gives you letters and numbers in the display to tell you what service the car wants. It is reset in a different way.

With the new system, with the ignition on, push the reset button until the maint display shows. Press and hold the reset button until the display starts to blink. Release and then press and hold the reset button untill the oil percentage resets to 100%.

It's all in the owner's manual.
