How Long until I am out of air?

I just picked up a 2002 Rover with 85,000 miles on her. Is it possible to get 100,000 miles out of the current air suspension or should I start saving up my money? Thanks

Yes, it is possible to get 100K out of that truck's EAS... If all things work out for you. Don't over-exercise it and you'll be fine.

Six months ago I got 2001 with 110k miles. The system was leaking and at first I tried a rebuilt valve body.That made no change at all. Then I saved up and got the genIII air springs which helped some. I also reprogrammed the computer to take advantage of the additional height capability of these springs. I think these ride better too.

Leaks persist though and last weekend I replaced the air tubes which go to the front springs. That was a mojor improvement, but now the rear sags overnight, which looks even goofier than the front springs sagging while parked. Probably will replace rear tubing this weekend.

So I have ~$1500 in parts but am expecting it to be good for another 100k when done.

Dennis at Rover-Renovations has all the parts you need to keep your truck's EAS running as well. But I like that aftermarket system listed above.

about $3k, I looked into it about 6 months ago, may have come down some but I doubt it.
