I'm at about 6 cups a day. We have one of those neat Keurig machines in the office that makes it way to easy to just grab another cup of really decent coffee. I take it with a packet of artificial sweetener, no cream.

How much is too much?

Usually one cup the size of two in the morning followed by a cup of green tea and another green after lunch. The green tea works wonders for energy without the buzz effect. I know, half the fun is gone, but it helps with concentration ;)

We keep a couple of coffee pots running in the Permitting section of our office. $1.25/week.... I get my money's worth....

I'd guess that a pot would be a minimum.... The wife starts a pot in the morning, so I'll have a travel mug on the way to work, have at least two refills on it before lunch, and at least two in the afternoon. That's at least a pot... but some days, I'm sure that it's closer to two, if not more....

One cup every morning at work (unfortunately, it's the cheap stuff so I fill it with cream and sugar) and one Diet Soda every afternoon. Usually Diet Coke with Lime but my new favorite is Jazz Diet Pepsi Strawberries/Cream.

Mountain Dew always works too! And on weekends, I either make coffee at home or head down to Starbucks or The Daily Grind.
